Improvement of product packing method
1. Objectives
- Products had been placed in fiber drums, which were troublesome to collect and discard. This improvement action is to change fiber drums to bags.
2. Description

- Three-layer bags were introduced.
- Inside:Two-layers of plastic, water-resistant.
- Outside:One layer of kraft paper.
- The bag is easy to take apart for discarding and is made of a material which burns at a low temperature and does not emit any harmful gas while burning.
3. Effects
- It is no longer necessary to collect and dispose the drums.
- Bags can be transported more efficiently than drums.
- It has become possible to dispose of the packing material (for example, by burning) efficiently at the site.
- When there is a large quantity of bags, the plastic layers and paper layer are separated for discarding.
4. Ideas for continuous application
- To automatize the packing procedure.
