Factory Management

(1) To reduce energy consumption by introduction of control systems and automatic measurement devices.

-Plant energy-saving system by installation of AD-controller

-Energy conservation with the use of an automatic measuring machine to test the quality of a refrigerant for air-conditioners (OGT Database)

-Device to control number of air compressors in operation

-Measures to reduce power demand during summer peak-time by introducing power monitoring/control system of 282 air-conditioners

-Variable airflow air-conditioner control in clean room in semiconductor manufacturing process

(2) To equip flowmeters, bulbs and so on, to minimize leak, loss and pollution in production process.

-Improvement of air conditioning efficiency by installation of high-speed sheet shutter to the forklift passage at the factory external access points

-Reduction of steam use

-Improvement in collecting cutting oil (OGT Database)

(3) To improve the working environment by introduction of clean machinery and machines with good performance.

-Use of high-pressure sodium lamp for high ceiling lighting

(4) To change the machinery, the layout and the pipe setting to improve material flow and efficiency.

-Elimination of waste caused by nonproductive operation (OGT Database)

(5) To reduce energy comsumption by change of the set temperature and frequency of use of air-conditioners.

-Review of air-conditioner circulation in clean room

(6) To reduce electric consumption when it is not used.

-Timer control of air dryer

-Creation of a system whereby holiday-time power outage is possible

-Energy saving during long-term shutdown of turbo refrigerator

-Making the operation of oil condensers more efficient (OGT Database)

(7) To make a schedule of management and inspection, which enable to minimize leak, loss and pollution in production process.

(8) To make a production schedule that enables to optimize cleaning cycle of equipment.

-Optimization of water-cooled air conditioner heat exchanger cleaning cycle

(9) To establish complete segregation and separate collection of waste in a factory.

-Separate storage for general waste, industrial waste and corrugated cardboard found on construction sites (OGT Database)
